Summer Garden
Embroidered in Presencia Stranded Cottons, this piece features Californian
Poppies and Pansies with a dragonfly coming to visit. It is embroidered on
celery Delustered satin and is highlighted with Mill Hill Beads.

Fuchsia: "Display"
An actual size stumpwork embroidery of the Fuchsia "Display" utilizing both
Madeira silk and DMC cottons worked on a background of delustered duchess
satin. "Display" is the fuchsia that most people identify with their
childhood being sometimes referred to as the ballet dancer. The kit
includes all fabrics, threads, wires, needles, a photo and complete
instructions. The design size is approximately 12 cm x 14 cm. Kit cost $55.00

Fuchsia: "Buttercup"
The second in the series of fuchsias, "Buttercup" is again actual size and
is worked in Au Ver a Soie silks and DMC cottons in creams and apricot, on
the same delustered duchess satin. "Buttercup" is a personal favourite of
mine " growing up in a fuchsia nursery my parents imported "Buttercup"
into Australia in 1982 (it was released in America by grower Ted Paskenson
in 1976). The kit again includes all fabrics, threads, wire, needles, a
photo and complete instructions. The design is slightly larger at
approximately 14 cm x 14 cm and the kit cost is $55.00

Fuchsia: "Lord Byron"
The third and final fuchsia in the series is "Lord Byron". It is also
worked in Au Ver a Soie silk and DMC cotton on delustered duchess
satin. "Lord Byron" is a very popular fuchsia and is found in a lot of
gardens the bright red sepals and (almost black) purple corolla make it a
striking specimen. (It is amazing how many students in my classes say "I
have that one".) The kit includes all fabrics, threads, wire, needles, a
photo and complete instructions. The design is approximately 13 x 13 cm
and the kit is also $55.00.
