Golden Lotus
This embroidery again combines stumpwork and goldwork embroidery techniques to create a bright contemporary piece. It features the goldwork technique Or Nue using smooth passing thread on some of the detached petals and employs English smooth purl, bright check purl and pearl purl as well as gold kid. The petals are worked in lustrous Rajmahal Art Silks. Two alternate background fabrics are available for those whom aqua/turquoise does not match with their decor ­ old gold and khaki green. Golden Peony
Golden Peony is embroidered in a triad of colour and is worked as a pair to Golden Lotus. It features a stunning purple and pink background fabric as the perfect foil for the orange and golden petals. Utilising both Stumpwork and Goldwork techniques this piece employs gilt purls and passing threads alongside Pearsalls silks to achieve its stunning look. Spring Splendour
An Art Nouveau inspired Stumpwork embroidery, highlighted with gold passing thread and bright check purls. Embroidered in sumptuous Au Ver A Soie silk threads in rich tones, these three pieces ­ The Tulips, The Waterlily and The Iris ­ look stunning together as a tryptych but look equally lovely on their own. The kits contain all fabrics, threads, beads, purls, wires, needles and instructions required to complete the projects.
