Window of the Blue Dragonflies
After being inspired by the shape of a piece of mount board, my husband said "now I´ve heard everything" ­ but this was the piece created. Combining both stumpwork and goldwork techniques, this stained glass window is worked on black satin with luxurious Au Ver a Soie silks. The piece also features a number of specialty threads including Cascade House Luminere and Lame Silk, Rajmahal Art Silk, Madeira #3 and Mettler Polysheen thread ­ not to mention the smooth purl , smooth passing and gold spangles that shimmer and sparkle. Kit contains all fabrics, threads, beads, spangles, needles and instructions and is priced at $80.00. The design size is approximately 12cms wide and 17 cms high.

Window of the Red Poppies
A new design that compliments Window of the Blue Dragonflies. Window of the Red Poppies features Art Nouveau inspired Stumpwork Poppies in an arched window frame of gold. The piece is highlighted with Smooth Passing thread, Rough, Black and Pearl Purls and gold spangles. Worked on black delustered satin with lustrous Au Ver a Soie silks, the piece is vibrant and alive. The project size is approximately 12 cm x 17 cm and the kit contains all fabrics, threads (both silk, specialty and metal), wires, needles and instructions required to complete the design. Soft Landing
Soft Landing combines both stumpwork and goldwork techniques to create this contemporary style piece of embroidery based on a warm and cool colour scheme. The embroidery features luxurious silks, garnet chips and gold purl ­ the flower inviting the butterfly for lunch. The kit contains all fabrics, Au Ver a Soie and Madeira silks, Kreinik braid, smooth purl, garnet chips, wires, needles, a photo and instructions.
