Gloriosa Lily
A botanical study of a Gloriosa Lily (Gloriosa Superba), which is also known as the
South African Flame Lily, being visited by a golden bee. This piece is worked in
Goldwork and Stumpwork techniques to create a lifelike image of this stunning flower.
It incorporates various padding techniques and the use of Colourstreams coloured sadi
threads alongside the English purls and Pearsall’s silks to bring this exotic bloom
to life. It measures 18 cm x 28 cm.

Cordelia - Jewel of the Sea
Cordelia is the delight of many a little girl. Worked in stumpwork, she
features detached tail fins and a needle-lace bikini top. The background
of the piece is hand dyed silk and various threads are included in the kit
for decorating her tail including gold and coloured goldwork purls,
Kreinik threads, Rajmahal art silks, Needle Necessities Opalesence and
Rainbow Gallery threads to name but a few. The kit contains all fabrics,
threads, gold and coloured bullion, beads, organza ribbon, wires, needles,
a photo and instructions. Her size is approximately 21 cm x 16 cm and the
kit costs $80.00

Neptune - King of the Sea
Over Christmas, Cordelia got married to this fine chap. On request I
designed him to complement Cordelia but still have his own
personality. Utilizing many of the same threads as Cordelia but in his
own colour scheme of navy/olive green (Cordelia's is blue/purple), he is
floating holding his tridant proudly. The kit contains all fabrics,
threads, gold, silver and coloured bullion, beads, organza ribbon, wires,
needles, a photo and instructions. His size is the same as Cordelia's and
his kit cost is also $80.00.
