Waratahs - okay now I'm going to brag a little. The Waratahs were embroidered in 2003 and I decided to send them to the Royal Melbourne Show. I said to my friends that it was going to be the last time that I entered the show as I had already won Best in Embroidery two years running. When the results came out, I had not only won Best in Embroidery for the third time, but I had won the prestigious Florence Monod Memorial Award for excellence - judged over all of the craft categories at the show. It was exciting and it was a privilege as well, as there was so many stunning pieces in the running. At this point I would like to thank my family....
